About Us
The aim of Shafiifiqh.com (shafifiqh.com too) is to revive, as well as support, the the Sunni Islamic jurisprudence of the guild (madhhab) of Imam Muhammad ibn Idris Ash-Shafi’i (May Allah 
have mercy upon him and be please with him). It is to aid and support the Shafi’i Muslims who have questions or doubts about their school. Shafiifiqh.com was created to help fill the void of Sunni (traditional) knowledge in western languages. Currently we have a Dutch (Nederlands) site as well, and we are working on other European languages as well.
Suggestions, comments, and complaints are always welcomed. We also seek out individuals capable of research, editing, translating from English to other languages and graphic design skills in order to assist us in this noble cause. We look forward to being a reliable source for the Shafi’i Sunnis in their endeavor to seek authentic knowledge as they fulfill the obligation of seeking religious ‘ilm as orderd by our beloved Prophet Muhammad 
when he said,
“Seeking knowledge is obligatory upon every Muslim!”
This narration was deemed weak in chain by the great Shafi’i Imam, An-Nawawi, though he declared the wording and meaning correct (sahih). The Shafi’i Muhaddith (scholar of hadith), Imam Al-Mizzi, declared this narration Hasan (of good standing).
